Chip Reese - Cash Game Master

Chip Reese won the 2006 WSOP $50,000 H.O.R.S.E event! The winner of this prestigious event gets the recognition of being the Worlds Greatest Poker Player! Besides the Gold Bracelet, Chip Reese won $1,716,000!

Chip Reese was born and raised in Dayton Ohio, and he is now currently a permanent resident of Nevada. Las Vegas, the perfect city to be in when one wants to hit the poker tables, serves as the ideal home for this professional poker player. Chip Reese has been inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame and is considered a major competitor in the world of poker. The previous winner of the World Series of Poker Seven Card Stud, and the World Series of Poker Seven Card Stud Split, Chip Reese has made himself a name as one of the very best professional gamblers. Finally, he is the winner of a total of 3 World Series of Poker Bracelets and he holds a total of 17 big money finishes in the same tournament.

Chip, who's real name is David Edward, suffered with a difficult spell of rheumatic fever when he was young. While at home, he learned his poker playing skills from none other than his mother. To this day, Chip Reese claims that his true abilities for poker playing were obtained from the time he spent with his mother while ill. In the meantime, he also attributes his winning abilities to being able to remain in full control while at the poker tables: Chip Reese is a master at disguising emotion and his poker face is more than convincing.

Reese was a student at Dartmouth where he majored in economics. He graduated from Dartmouth and he later had full intentions to attend the prestigious Stanford University to study to become an attorney, but while visiting Vegas had a spell of good fortune (in conjunction with skill) and he won at the tables: 40,000 dollars to be exact. That amount of money was enough to keep him in Las Vegas permanently and to set aside his plans to become a lawyer. While this measure was certainly a leap of faith, Chris Reese has made out considerably well: to date, Chip Reese has brought home over 4,500,000 million dollars in winnings: it's no wonder he is considered a poker legend.
