Humberto Brenes - Limit Holdem ProBorn in Costa Rica in 1951, Humberto Brenes is a professional poker player, sometimes called "the Godfather of Costa Rican Players." A familiar face at the poker tables, he is one of several Central American players in the "Costa Rica connection," that includes his brothers, Alex and Eric, and Jose Rosenkrantz. Humberto has an amiable personality, and he is extremely popular with his contemporaries in the world of poker. It is difficult to not notice Brenes, with his flashy clothing and two sets of glasses. He even wears a headset at times, listening, and sometimes singing, to the music, which he finds a soothing factor at the poker table.Humberto began playing poker with his father at the age of seven.
