JC Tran
Formally known as Justin Cuong Van Tran, JC Tran is a Vietnamese-American poker player. JC Tran currently lives in Sacramento, California and earned a degree in business management information systems from California State University in his hometown of Sacramento. JC Tran has been front and center in the poker world since 2004 and 2005 when he really started to win big and make a name for himself.
Tran has made it his business to finish in the money at many poker tournaments, with more than a dozen money finishes. He finished in 5th place at the 2004 World Poker finals as well as on the television bubble of the 2004 L.A. Poker Classic as well as the 2005 Borgata Poker Open. JC Tran also finished in 5th place in 2006 at the L.A. Poker Classic. Unlike many poker players, Tran has earned himself a seat at three final tables in the World Series of Poker.

Tran has experienced many wins in the past, with many of them being in the tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars. JC Tran was ecstatic when he won more than one million dollars in the 2007 L.A. Poker Classic when he finished in second place. In March of 2007 Tran won his first World Poker Tour title, which was the World Poker Challenge, where he earned more than $680,000! With such a winning streak it has been hard not to notice JC Tran out and about. It'll be interesting to watch him as he continues to play in the future.
