Event #22 of the 2006 WSOP finished on Sunday, July 16th. It was No-limit Holdem tournament with a $2000 buy-in. 1,579 players entered the event which ended up having a $2,873,780 prize pool. The top 156 players made it to the money round. 21 year-old Jeff Madsen from Los Angeles, California made history as the youngest player to win a WSOP Gold Bracelet. He won the Title and $660,948. Poker pro Julian Gardner finished in a respectable third place.
