On Tuesday, July 18, 2006 events #25 and #26 both finished. David "The Dragon" Pham from Cerritos, CA won his second Gold Bracelet at Event #25. It was a tough No-Limit Texas Holdem SHOOTOUT Tournament with a $2000 buy-in. 600 players entered the event for a prize pool which totaled $1,092,000. 100 players were able to cash-in. Kathy Leibert just missed the final table, busting out in 11th place. Poker Greats Todd Brunson and Josh Arieh also finished in the top 50.

Ralph Perry from Las Vegas, Nevada won the 2006 WSOP event #26 Title. It was an Omaha Pot-limit tournament with a $1500 buy-in. 526 players entered for a prize pool worth $716,625. 54 players were paid out. Ralph Perry won his first WSOP Gold Bracelet and $207,817. David Williams finished in 19th place and Juha Helppi busted out in 20th position.
