2006 World Series of Poker Daily Highlights - Thursday, August 10, 2006

Jamie Gold won the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event! He earned the title of World Champion! The WSOP Main Event Final Table began on Thursday, August 10 at 2:00 PM and finished at roughly 3:45 AM. Jamie Gold simply dominated the entire day and won his first WSOP Gold Bracelet along with $12,000,000. Jamie Gold is one of the Bodog WSOP qualifiers. All nine players also became instant millionaires. Poker Pro Allen Cunningham played great but ran into a few brick walls including a huge bluff by rising star Paul Wasicka.
