2006 WSOP Event #10 Results and Highlights
Wednesday, July 5, 2006 WSOP event #10 began. It was structured as a Seven Card Stud tournament with a $1500 buy-in. 472 players entered the tournament for a prize pool worth $652,470. The tournament lasted 3 days and the top 40 places made money. Poker Pro and Team Bodog leader David Williams won his first WSOP Gold Bracelet. He won the Title and $163,118. 'Miami' John Cernuto made a great showing but finished in 5th place. 10-time WSOP Champion Johnny Chan came in 7th place. John Hennigan and Humberto Brenes also finished in the top 20.
