World Championship Pot Limit Holdem

Event #13 of the 2007 World Series of Poker is one of the players favorite tournaments. It is the $5,000 buy-in World Championship Pot Limit Holdem tournament. The popular tournament is scheduled 3 days and begins on Friday, June 8th at 12 NOON. It will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. All players start with $10,000 in tournament chips and levels increas every 60 minutes with 15 minute breaks every two levels.

Jason Lester is the reigning Pot-limit Holdem Champion! He won $550,746 and his first well deserved WSOP Gold Bracelet. 378 of the best Pot-Limit players in the World played in the tournament in 2006. Poker young gun Kirill Gerasimov came in 9th place. Cyndy Violette busted out in 16th place and Erik Seidel came in 34th position.
