On Tuesday, June 27th the 2006 WSOP event #2 began. It was a No-limit Texas Holdem style tournament with a $1500 buy-in. 36 places were paid out. It ran for 3 days. Brandon Cantu from Vancouver, BC, Canada won the Championship Title and the Gold Bracelet. He took in a whopping $757,839. Juan Carlos Mortensen came in ninth place and Jennifer Harman came in 11th.
