No-Limit Texas Holdem Event
Event #9 of the 2006 WSOP starts on Friday, July 14 at 12 P.M. at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a 3 day No-Limit Texas Holdem tournament with a $2000 buy-in. All players begin with $2,000 in tournament chips and all levels go up every 60 minutes with the final table levels increasing every 90 minutes. Breaks are every two rounds and dinner breaks after levels 6 and 15. 2005 Reigning Champion is Lawrence Gosney who won $483,195.
