Pot-Limit Omaha with Re-buys - $5,000 Buy-in
Phil Ivey won his fifth Gold Bracelet at event #27 of the 2005 WSOP. It was a Pot-limit Omaha tournament consisting of re-buys. The buy-in was $5000 and 134 top Omaha players entered. There were a total of 229 re-buys and add-ons making the prize pool $1,765,568. Poker great Phil Ivey won $630,685. Omaha expert Robert Williamson III was the runner-up. Allen Cunningham came in fourth, Surinder Suar fifth and Phil Hellmuth Jr. placed eighth.
