The 2006 WSOP Event #29 was a Pot-limit Holdem Tournament with a $2500 buy-in. It was a 3-day event which attracted 562 of the World's best Pot-limit holdem players. The top 54 players received a piece of the $1,292,600 prize pool. UK player John Gale won his first World Series of Poker Gold Bracelet and $374,849. The name might sound familiar to some of you. He won the 2005 World Poker Tour PokerStars Caribbean Adventure event. He currently resides in Bushey, Hertfordshire, UK and has only been playing since 2004. 2005 WSOP Main Event Champion Joseph Hachem came in fourth place. Alex Brenes finished in 19th and Lee Watkinson came in 30th.
