Pot-Limit Texas Holdem event #29 of the 2006 WSOP begins on Wdnesday, July 19 at 2 P.M. at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a 2 day event with a $2500 buy-in. All players begin with $2500 in tournament chips and all levels go up every 60 minutes except for the final table which increases every 90 minutes. Breaks are every two rounds and a dinner break after level 6. Johnny Chan is the 2005 reigning Champion.
