2006 WSOP Event #30 Results and Highlights

507 players entered event #30 of the 2006 WSOP. The tournament was structured as a Short Handed No-limit Holdem with a $5000 buy-in. The event was scheduled for 3 days. 54 players received a piece of the $2,382,900 prize pool. It finally came down to heads up between Erick Lindgren and Jeff Madsen. At the age of 21, Jeff Madsen ended up winning his second WSOP Gold Bracelet this year and $643,381. His lives in Los Angeles, California and attends UC Santa Barbara. Poker greats Phil Hellmuth Jr., Robert Williamson III and Jennifer Tilly all made it to the money but busted out. Joe Awada and John Juanda also finished in the top 18. We all hope this event will air on ESPN!
