2006 WSOP Event #34 Results and Highlights
Phil "Poker Brat" Hellmuth won a record tying 10th WSOP Gold Bracelet at event #34 of the 2006 WSOP. The tournament was a wild one! It was set up as a $1000 buy-in No-limit Holdem Tournament with re-buys and add-ons. Poker young gun Daniel Negreanu spent $48,000 in re-buy chips and Erick Lindgren kept more than $100,000 in re-buy chips at his side. 754 players entered for a prize pool totaling $2,340,238. 73 players received payouts. Phil Hellmuth Jr. won the WSOP Gold Bracelet and $631,863. He is now tied with Poker Greats Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan with a record 10 Gold Bracelets. WPT champ Juha Helppi finished in second. 'Tony G' Guoga can in tenth and Humberto Brenes finished in eleventh.
