On Tuesday July 4th, William Chen won the 2006 WSOP event #7 tournament which began 3 days ago. He took in $343,618 and the Gold Bracelet. It was a Limit Texas Holdem tournament with a $3000 buy-in. This was William Chen's first WSOP Gold Bracelet. Phil Hellmuth Jr. finished 13th and set a new WSOP record with 51 cashes. He broke the tie he had with Men "The Master" Nguyen.
