Monday, July 3, 2006 WSOP event #8 began. 670 players entered the Omaha hi-low split tournament for a prize pool worth $1,219,400. The top 63 entrants earned money. Jack Zwerner from Las Vegas, NV won the Gold Bracelet and $341,426. Poker star Daniel Negreanu made the final table but could not get any cards. He finished in 7th place.
