Layne FlackLayne Flack was born in South Dakota on the 18th of May, 1969. His card playing experience began early after he graduated from high school in 1987. Layne started by working in a casino and followed this by summers spent dealing cards in famous Deadwood, South Dakota while he was at college. Legend has it that Layne was one of the best poker dealers ever.Layne started playing poker for money around 1993, gradually playing in bigger and bigger tournaments, and it was not long before he started winning. After running a card room in Montana for a couple of years, Layne moved to Vegas permanently to pursue his poker-playing career more seriously. Layne Flack's first big win was $67,800 in a Hall of Fame $1,500 no-limit hold'em tournament in 1997. For a while after this, Layne seemed to win everything he entered, and has in fact won multiple tournaments nearly every year since. He won his first World Series of Poker Gold bracelet in 1999 and "Back-to-Back Flack" was the nickname subsequently given to Layne after he won two more WSOP bracelets back-to-back in 2002, winning more than $570,000 in two weeks. He repeated this again in 2003. Do you want instant cash bonuses; sign-up and reload bonuses? If so, BodogPoker is for you!! Both alcohol and drugs have been present in his life in large amounts, especially since the year 2000, and he had a reputation for being drunk throughout games (often still winning). Layne has since beaten both addictions through a stint in rehab, and through the support of his girlfriend and friends. Layne Flack has been described as a party boy and a poker genius, and his style of play is fast and furious. He is regarded as being nearly unbeatable when he is at his best. He is fearless, and is great at reading people. His self-confessed weaknesses include boredom and sometimes a lack of discipline, as well as getting ahead of himself. These things have, however, benefited him on occasion too. Layne also feels that he has a sixth sense when it comes to poker, he will make calls that may seem risky but he knows that he is going to win. No-limit poker is Layne's forte but he is not limited to this, and he is certainly one of the very best poker players of current time.
